Scope and purpose
SourcePay AI ("SourcePay", "we", "us") operates the SourcePay AI web app at app.sourcepayai.com and the SourcePay AI iOS and Android apps (together, the "Service"). This policy describes what personal information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. This page is maintained by SourcePay AI as editable app-owner content and is not an independent certification or legal opinion.
Account data
We collect the information you provide when you create an account, including your email address, display name, and (optionally) phone number and avatar image.
Content you post
We collect asks you create, proof documents or photos you upload to support an ask, messages, contributions, and comments. This content may be visible to others based on the audience settings you choose.
Usage and diagnostic data
We collect basic app-diagnostic events, device type, and error logs to keep the Service running. We do not use third-party advertising trackers or sell your personal information.
Sign-in identifiers
If you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive the identifiers those providers return, such as an opaque user ID, email, and name. We do not receive your Apple or Google password.
How we use your information
We use your information to create and secure your account, let you sign in across devices, show your asks and proofs to the audience you choose, route contributions to the beneficiary or vendor you designate, send transactional email, detect abuse, prevent fraud, and comply with legal obligations.
Service providers and subprocessors
We do not sell your personal information. We share limited data with service providers that operate the Service on our behalf: Supabase (managed database, authentication, and file storage), Apple and Google (sign-in services), Resend (transactional email delivery), and the Lovable AI Gateway (AI features that summarize asks and suggest content). Each provider's own terms and privacy policies apply to the data they process.
Artificial intelligence processing
Some Service features use AI to summarize asks or suggest content. Inputs and outputs are processed through the Lovable AI Gateway. Do not submit sensitive personal information, health information, or confidential data in asks or proofs unless you are comfortable with this processing.
Payments and financial data
We do not store full payment card details on our servers. Payment processing is handled by third-party payment processors. We may store transaction records, billing contact information, and payment confirmation references needed to route contributions and issue receipts.
Data retention
We retain account data for as long as your account is active. Content you post may remain visible to other users according to your audience settings. We will delete or anonymize your account and associated data within 30 days of a deletion request, except where retention is required by law.
Your choices and rights
You can access, correct, or export your profile from the app's Settings screen. You can delete your account by emailing privacy@sourcepayai.com. You can opt out of non-essential emails from any email footer.
Children's privacy
SourcePay AI is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13, contact privacy@sourcepayai.com and we will delete it.
Security measures
Data is transmitted over HTTPS and stored in a managed database with row-level security policies. No system is perfectly secure, and you use the Service at your own risk. Report security issues to privacy@sourcepayai.com.
Cookies and local storage
The web app uses essential cookies and browser local storage for authentication and session state. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
International data transfers
Our service providers may store and process data in countries other than your own. By using the Service, you consent to this transfer and processing.
Third-party links and services
The Service may contain links to third-party websites or services. This policy does not apply to those third parties, and we are not responsible for their privacy practices.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be highlighted in the app or by email before they take effect. Your continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated policy.
